My friends deep in concentration during a Pictionary game.

Trimets Netballers

My team Trimets Gals playing at Mumong Sports Complex today. The tournament was organised by the KBBS. Trimets Guys showed up to give support and moral boost. On the whole they did well, winning 3 games out of 6. Well done Trimets!

Facebook Station

De Rigeur these days, FB can be found on many platforms, including my tired old Macbook. Placed against a large bay window, facing the garden, it helps when one wants peace and serenity and a dollop of calm creative inspiration...NOT!

Cloud-ology

Seen on the way to work one morning. Awesome cloud formation, I just had to stop by the roadside and take this one. Nature has a way of painting the sky with water vapor!

RTB Carnival (deuxieme partie)

One of the signatures of Brunei Cottage Industry -- Kain Tenunan Asli. These rich hand woven brocades can reach 4 figure prices!

RTB Carnival (deuxieme partie)

Untold riches...of fake gems! Anything will look good under professional lighting.

RTB Carnival (deuxieme partie)

Gastric problems are generally termed "dugal" in Brunei Malay. But its funny how they spell this one out -- trying to market their medicines.

RTB Carnival (deuxieme partie)

Kids were drawn to the RTB mascots.

Walkabout Pics

My 5DmII is still too heavy for me in my current condition, so during my morning physio walkabout around the my parents' house, I used my simplistic Nokia E71 camera to take these shots. For such a simple camera, its got a Macro Mode -- you can see the ever so slight DoF effect. Considering how tiny the imaging sensor is, not a bad effort Nokia!
